200 Fights

The starting point for “200 fights” is the artist’s own experience, which often lacks suitable instruments to fight current grief. The perceived hopelessness evokes aggression and the violence is directed to the artist herself. She smashes her head against a wooden wall 200 times and aggresses not only herself but also the viewer. As artist herself says, this desperate act depicts and  resembles an act of a toddler. Using the frustration, she turns the common logic off, doing it and repeating it without thinking. By enduring the pain, the ongoing repetition implies an arrangement of adverse circumstances.
